Why this company exists
Palesa Motshidi has spent nearly ten years as a Home Health Aide across the DMV. That is
where the business came from. You learn quickly which items a facility runs out of first,
which substitutions staff will accept and which they quietly won't use, and how much of a
shift gets lost when a box doesn't arrive.
K INTL was formed in Maryland in 2020 and is run by its two members, Palesa Motshidi
and William Akande. The company trades as K INTL Medical & Surgical Supply and is
registered as K INTL Food Distributor LLC.
How we work
We quote federal requirements through the DLA Internet Bid Board System, sourcing to the
National Stock Number or part number as the solicitation states it. We supply clinics, home
health and residential service agencies across the DMV with the same consumables, from the
same accounts.
Both sides are run by the people who own the company. A requirement that arrives in the
morning is priced before the end of the business day, whether it is one replacement part or
a recurring multi-unit award.
